Dr. Sean Varah, Chief Executive Officer/Founder
Dr. Varah’s background includes over 15 years of investment and start-up experience, including Sony Ventures, Q Media Partners, and Covad Communications. While at Sony Ventures, he led the Series A investment and served as board director for Keyhole.com, later acquired by Google (basis for Google Earth). Dr. Varah earned a B.A. from Stanford University and a Doctorate from Columbia University.
Dr. Nikola Bozinovic, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Bozinovic is an award-winning expert in the area of signal processing, image and video analysis, and video compression. Prior to establishing MotionDSP’s engineering department, Dr. Bozinovic was a senior software engineer at Veodia, a video streaming and distribution company, and a research scientist at Microsoft. Dr. Bozinovic is an active academic and industry speaker, and both writes and reviews journal and conference papers. His publications include a book chapter on computational super-resolution "Super-Resolution Imaging: Digital Imaging and Computer Vision” and more than a dozen journal and conference papers. Dr. Bozinovic earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Boston University, where he was a Dean's Fellow.
