Our Company
MotionDSP fixes video. Despite the "DSP" in our name, we make software, not chips. Our patented technology has been in development for several years, and ships in two products: Ikena Reveal, a Windows-based video enhancement/forensic application, and www.fixmymovie.com, a consumer video web service currently in beta. Our investors include InQTel, "the the independent strategic investment firm that identifies innovative technology solutions to support the mission of the Central Intelligence Agency and the broader U.S. Intelligence Community." We're privately held with offices in San Mateo, California.
Our Technology
MotionDSP's software decodes a video file, extracts as much information as it can from dozens of video frames, then re-constructs a new video which combines all that information. The result is a video that is higher-resolution, shows more detail and has much less video noise and artifacts than the original source.
In Ikena Reveal, our video forensic software, the user can choose between "automatic" fixing, and user-guided enhancement. In the FixMyMovie.com service, video enhancement is completely automatic -- users upload videos, and they're fixed.
