Ikena ISR accepts a live, 30 frame per second video feed (SD or HD), whether analog, digital, or IP, processes it in less than 300 millisecond, and outputs it to your monitor, or encodes it as a new “fixed” video stream. This is how MotionDSP defines real-time. Competitors might offer comparable features, but their products can only process video “off-line,” where the user waits for the result. Other competitors offer “real-time” products, but their image processing algorithms are rudimentary, and lack the quality of MotionDSP’s algorithms.
Ikena ISR is unique for three reasons: the quality and depth of its image processing algorithms, its speed (real-time), and its use of commercial Graphics Processors (GPUs) from AMD and NVIDIA, which allow Ikena ISR to operate on any commercial PC that meets our hardware requirements.
