Automated Processing

Ikena uses state-of-the-art computer vision technology to automate video reconstruction and it's workflow is designed using more than three years of feedback from video forensic experts. Ikena's precise and repeatable enhancement process replaces a manual, error-prone, and time-consuming practice of the past.

Ikena reduces the time required to enhance a video from hours to seconds, which is why it has been adopted by many of the world’s leading video forensic labs. These include the US Secret Service and London Met Police, as well as the US Intelligence Community and DoD customers.

MotionDSP's software is based on years of R&D and academic research, and has been used successfully in prosecuting cases in both US and UK courts, and is in use at the US Secret Service, Scotland Yard, the US Navy(NCIS), and US intelligence customers. Ikena’s fully-automated pipeline, MD5-hashing, and detailed reports allow for accurate and easily-reproducible results.

Ikena's is built on top of a robust and an extensible DirectShow video framework, which allows it to open the widest number of video formats. Ikena’s intuitive interface also features automatic presets (pre-built and user-defined) and one-click “auto settings”. Finally, training on Ikena takes less than an hour.

Using Ikena, you will be able to:

  • Open every supported file format instantly, from its original location.
  • Enhance videos and preview enhancement results live, "on-the-fly".
  • View and set adjustments as they are being made.
  • Get results fast as there is no need to wait for enhancements to render.
  • Create reports in seconds with Ikena's automatic reporting feature.

See the following training video for a demonstration of Ikena's automated processing. Skip to 60 seconds to see the use of presets.
