Sean Varah
Founder and CEO

Sean Varah founded MotionDSP in 2005 in Burlingame, CA. Prior to MotionDSP, Sean was an entrepreneur and corporate investor in Silicon Valley, directing technology investments at Sony Music, where he sourced and led the Series A investment in Keyhole which was acquired by Google in 2004, and is now known as Google Earth. He has over 15 years of investment and start-up experience, including Sony Ventures, Q Media Partners, and Covad Communications.

Sean received a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a doctorate from Columbia University.

Donna Lekosky
Vice President of Finance

Donna Lekosky is responsible for MotionDSP’s finances and also heads up the Forensic business unit. She has worked extensively with startups including Audible Magic, Reactrix and Women.com prior to joining MotionDSP and has a proven track record of leadership. Donna began her career in public accounting and has deep experience in all aspects of finance, accounting, HR, recruiting and training.

Donna earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University and is also a CPA.

Chris DeMarche
Board Member

Chris DeMarche is one of MotionDSP’s earliest investors, and has served on the board since 2007. Prior to joining the board, he assisted investors with different aspects of their portfolios including both board and short term operational positions. Prior to consulting, he was co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Verio Inc, a multi-billion dollar provider of internet and data center products, acquired by NTT in 1999. Prior to Verio, he was Senior VP and CTO for Nextel Corporation/OneCom.

Chris earned his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy, an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Mark Varah
Board Member

Mark has over 20 yrs experience in finance and technology program management. His experience includes finance, operations, investments, and business development at Intel Corporation, Bundy Group, and Presbyterian Homes & Family Services, and Nissan Motors. While at Intel Capital, he led several investments in technology companies and was the lead integration manager for two major corporate acquisitions. .

Mark earned a B.S. from Stanford University and a MBA from the University of California, Berkeley
